I created 3-6-9 Yoga after many years of practicing and teaching yoga because I noticed that breath work was lacking in yoga classes. I really wanted a simple guideline for students to access breath work within their yoga practice. In 3-6-9 Yoga I teach 4 types of breath work and when to use each one for specific poses.
Have you ever wondered how many breaths should I take in each pose?
Depending on your level of experience and the type of pose the number of breaths can vary. I will customize for you exactly when to take 3, 6 or 9 breaths.
In 3-6-9 Yoga you will be introduced and trained in 4 types of breath work which include; 5 elements breath, surrender breath, deep breath and cleansing breath.
The 3-6-9 proprietary sequence of yoga poses combine standing, seated and floor poses with breath work to meet the needs of beginners and experienced yogis alike. You will be taught how to adjust the sequence to best meet your personal needs and goals. Be your own yoga teacher!
