OM Yogassage is a unique blend of yoga, massage, Thai massage, somatics, meditation and breath work. In an OM Yogassage couples workshop, the giver gently places the receiver in yoga-like poses for a deep stretch and deep breaths. OM Yogassage can be offered almost anywhere with no equipment required. The OM Yogassage proprietary sequence aims to maximize the benefits of massage and yoga all in one session!
No prior Yoga or massage experience required. OM Yogassage is recommended for anyone as long as they can maintain a kneeling or lunging position for a few minutes at a time. In an OM Yogassage couples workshop you will learn to stretch and massage your partner and help them heal and feel better over all.
In our OM Yogassage Workshops you will learn how to give and receive therapeutic and healing yoga stretches combined with massage techniques in a safe and warm environment. Your facilitator will guide you and your partner gently in and out of stretches that will have both of you feeling relaxed, energized and connected.
OM Yogassage Workshop Level I (2.5hrs): OM Yogassage class warm up and connecting exercises. Introduction to OM Yogassage techniques and stretches, learn sequence for legs & feet, arms, head & neck and seated positions. Yoga Nidra meditation.
OM Yogassage Workshop Level II (2.5 hrs): OM Yogassage class warm up and connecting exercises. Learn advanced OM Yogassage techniques and stretches, prone & side positions, introduction to energy “zen” lines. Yoga Nidra meditation.
OM Yogassage Workshop Level III (2.5 hrs): OM Yogassage class warm up and connecting exercises. Learn advanced OM Yogassage techniques and stretches, abdominal massage, advanced energy “zen” lines, face and neck techniques. Yoga Nidra meditation.

What to bring:
Please bring a yoga mat for each person (yoga mats may be available for rent in some yoga studios). Bring one firm pillow or cushion per couple for OM Yogassage couples workshop. Bring water in a closed bottle for hydration throughout the class/workshop. If you would like to give extra gratitude to your instructor feel free to bring a cash gratuity. There will be a gratuity jar at the entrance.
What to expect:
In an OM Yogassage class/workshop you will learn basic massage techniques and yoga poses. Your instructor will guide you through a series of positions that combine yoga and massage with breath work. Generally we move slowly into and out of positions and hold longer than in a regular yoga class.
Who can attend:
OM Yogassage is for everyone! You do not need to have any experience in massage or yoga to attend. As long as you can stay in a lunge or kneeling position for a few minutes at a time you will love the experience.
Cancellation/No Show Policy:
We have a 48 hours notice requirement for cancellation or rescheduling policy. Please email info@omyogasagge.com of your intent to cancel and reschedule your class/workshop. Otherwise you will be charged for the class/workshop. If there is an emergency we will waive the policy with written documentation. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
